Rolling Stones threaten to sue Trump: “Just use our songs in rallies”

I Rolling Stones they threaten to sue Donald Trump if he continues to use their songs as the soundtrack for election rallies. The magazine reports it Rolling Stone. What triggered the new reaction from the legendary British rock band was the fact that Trump used the song You Can’t Always Get What You Want during a week-long rally in Tulsa.

The Rolling Stones had already protested during the 2016 election campaign against the unauthorized use of their songs as the soundtrack for a political event. But the injunctions from their attorneys evidently went unheeded, and the president also sounded Heart of Stone during the holidays for his inauguration in 2017. Now, however, reportedly, the band, with the frontman Mick Jagger and the guitarist Keith Richards in the head, he would have decided to move from words to deeds by turning to a study specialized in defense of copyright. “This could be the last time Trump uses a Jagger / Richards song for his election campaign – says a statement released by the band – if Donald Trump persists and ignores the injunction, he will face a lawsuit.”
