Rolling Stones break album chart record | NOW

The Rolling Stones have set a new record in Great Britain. They are the first band to top the UK’s best-selling album chart in six different decades, the Official Charts Company announced Friday night.

For this decade they did just that with the remastered reissue of Goats Head Soup which appeared on September 4. The album is originally from 1973. In that year the album reached, on which, among other things, the hit Angie can be heard, also the first place.

It is the thirteenth album for The Rolling Stones to take first place in the album charts in the United Kingdom. This is the same number as Robbie Williams and Elvis Presley. Only The Beatles have more: they have released seventeen albums that reached the top of the charts.
