Rolex, official watch of the Rolex Paris Masters for fifteen years!

The Rolex Paris Masters represents a key moment of the season. In fact, it offers players one last chance to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals (13-20 November), the end-of-season tournament that sees the top eight players and doubles pairs compete against each other, and of which Rolex is also “Watch Official” (the Genevan brand is omnipresent in the tennis world).

Located near the Seine, the Accor Arena is renowned for its warm atmosphere. In front of an over-excited crowd and on a hard surface that favors a fast and hard-to-anticipate match, players must demonstrate unparalleled precision, talent and composure.

We recall that Rolex joined the Parisian tournament fifteen years ago, but the brand’s close link with tennis dates back to 1978, when it became the official watch of the oldest and most famous discipline competition: The Championships, Wimbledon.

Since then, Rolex has been inseparable from the world of tennis around the world, as evidenced by its many collaborations with leading organizations, players and competitions, including the four Grand Slam tournaments.

It should also be noted that several Rolex Testimonials (brand ambassadors) distinguished themselves in Paris. In 2008 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga won the title in front of the home crowd, then three years later the legendary Roger Federer beat the Frenchman in the final after a perfectly controlled week during which he didn’t lose the slightest set. Rolex testimonials Stefan Edberg (1990) and Tim Henman (2003) lifted the trophy.

This year, the Rolex family is led by the young prodigy Carlos Alcaraz. The Spaniard will enter the successful Rolex Paris Masters at the US Open, where he won his first Grand Slam title and his fifth tournament of the season. Triumphing at Arthur Ashe Stadium, the 19-year-old phenomenon became the youngest number 1 in the world in ATP Tour history.

Rolex testimonials Jannick Sinner and Taylor Fritz will also be looking to spice up their 2022 season. Impressive so far this year, Jannick Sinner has reached the quarter-finals at the Australian Open and US Open, while Taylor Fritz, the best American, has shown his quality on hardcourt by winning his first ATP Masters 1000 title at Indian Wells in March.

As for Stéfanos Tsitsipás, currently n. 5 in the ATP rankings, he has already secured a spot in the Nitto ATP Finals and will be looking to build his confidence ahead of the year-end tournament.
