Primo set in Tsitsipas: 6-3
—
An impeccable and super concentrated Stefanos Tsitsipas dominates the first set of the first semifinal of Roland Garros, winning the first fraction 6-3. The break that decides the set arrives in the German’s first serving game: Zverev immediately offers two break points: on the first place the first ace of the match but on the second he sends a straight down the line for the 2-0 Tsitsipas. The Greek has no push-ups, yields four points in the next three batting games and then, at 5-3, gets to serve for the set. Here he gets a set point, but he is wrong with the forehand. The German does not control the response and the Greek also wins a second chance: this time the German’s backhand ends long and after 37 minutes the Greek is already ahead by 6-3. (Mon.Mar.)
