“Roland Garros 2023: Record Prize Money Increase Announced for Tennis Tournament”

There is just over two weeks left until the final tables of Roland Garros start and the organization of the French tournament has surprised this Friday by announcing a considerable increase in the amount allocated to prizes for the 2023 edition.

Roland Garros will allocate the impressive figure of 49.6 million euros to prizes for its 2023 editionwhich represents an increase of 12.3% compared to the 2022 edition.

An increase that represents a rise of 9.1% in the individual draws and that will be reflected above all in those tennis players who fall in the first round between 11 and 13%while in doubles tournaments the increase will be 4%.

Thus the Roland Garros champions in the men’s and women’s individual categories will receive a large sum of 2.3 million euros for getting the title.
