ROGER FEDERER’S NEXT MATCH | WHEN WILL FEDERER NEXT PLAY WIMBLEDON? – RADIO TIMES

When will Roger Federer play at Wimbledon 2021 next? Next game details revealed

While Novak Djokovic is still the favorite to win Wimbledon 2021, his main rival Roger Federer is gaining strength and determination as the tournament continues. He did a light job of his fourth round match against No.23 seed Lorenzo Sonego and is hoping for an equally convincing quarter-final victory.

Federer is not sure yet who he will play against, as No.2 seed Daniil Medvedev has yet to finish his clash with Hubert Hurkacz. This is good news for the Swiss star – not only will his opponent not get a day off, but there is also a chance that the dreaded Medvedev will be on course for a shock defeat, as the game approaches five sets. It would be a relief for Federer, who is ranked sixth.

With a ninth Wimbledon title in sight and just three games to go, Federer will need to keep his cool, but he will go to the quarter-finals as a favorite, regardless of his opponent.

When will Roger Federer play at Wimbledon next?

Federer continues bid for ninth Wimbledon title tomorrow wednesday july 7 . The game is expected to be played on center court, but that is yet to be confirmed and we do not have a start time yet.

Federer will face winner Daniil Medvedev over Hubert Hurkacz, who was interrupted by rain and will end on center court at 1.30pm today.

Federer is trying to win his 21st Grand Slam title, to beat him ahead of Rafael Nadal in the standings, but he faces a tough draw, and certainly doesn’t slide as easily as his rival, defending champion Novak Djokovic.

The 39-year-old Swiss star and the 34-year-old Serb are on either side of the 2021 Wimbledon Draw and still ready for another classic Wimbledon final, which would be a rematch of the fierce showdown of 2019.
