“I have been here (only) six months. I can’t say that French players play to look like Roger. I think they respect it. I think they like what he did. And they appreciated the beauty, they respected the beauty of the game. That’s one aspect that I understand. But I don’t think people try to play like Roger. The mentality, yes, I mean, they are French. That’s the part I’m trying to understand now, really, to get to know them and understand their way of thinking, their way of reasoning. »
