“At first I was only concerned with health, but now I really miss the feeling of playing in a full stadium. I know that the moment of retiring is getting closer and I think I will miss the circuit very much ”, indicated ‘Your Majesty’.
In this sense, the Swiss tennis player added: “I must be patient and continue working. It would have been easy for me to retire at this juncture, but I want to continue giving myself the opportunity to enjoy tennis. Rehabilitation is going well, I’m going to take my time to get back in top shape. ”
On June 10, it should be remembered, Federer announced that he ended a season in which he only played one tournament, the Australian Open, because he had a second operation for an injury to his right knee, but he plans to return to the competition in 2021.
