Roger Federer – The True GOAT: Insights from Wilander, Bryan, and Henman

If the GOAT (greatest player of all time) debate rages among fans, it is also the case for consultants and former great players.

Recently questioned on this subject, Mats Wilander seems to be of the same opinion as Mike Bryan and Tim Henman, namely that Roger Federer deserves this honorary and symbolic title despite the superior record of Novak Djokovic.

“I don’t like to say who the GOAT is, because ‘greatest of all time’ is one thing, but there is ‘greatest of all time,’ and we’re giving it to Novak Djokovic right now . The “greatest of all time”, I like to give it to Roger Federer because I think he put tennis on everyone’s TV. It will be interesting to see what Roger does with the rest of his life, will he still be a part of tennis like we are in the media? Will he become a coach? He has his management company and is involved in a clothing line, but I would love to hear him comment, just to hear what he has to say, that would be great. I was very sad when he decided to retire, it was the saddest moment I have witnessed in professional tennis. He’s a great guy, so nice to everyone, real class. »
