Roger Federer, the 41-year-old former Swiss professional tennis player is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. With 20 Grand Slam titles to his credit, Federer has his name engraved in the tennis history books. The Swiss icon recently broke many hearts when he announced his retirement after a glorious career spanning more than two decades.

Federer recently shared a heartfelt message on his social media where he announced the news of his retirement. The Swiss master announced that he would retire after competing in the sink cup. It was something that struck me a lot, having people like Andy, Novak and Rafa and everyone on the team is clearly an incredible thing. I felt like it was the right place to do it and I’m so thankful that all the guys were here.Federer added.
