Roger Federer named to unreal ATP Cup roster at another fitness track

Roger Federer has been named one of Switzerland’s players for the ATP Cup in a further indication that he will be ready for the Australian Open.

The ATP Cup is played with 12 teams this year, and all matches will be played in Melbourne between February 1 and 5, the week before the Australian Open.

And while the list is subject to change, everything indicates that Roger Federer’s team is increasingly confident that he will be ready to return from knee surgery in Australia.

The 11 best players in the world are currently scheduled to participate, and Kei Nishikori uses his protected leaderboard to also include Japan in the event.

Australia, as host, received a wild card to participate, with Canada substitutes if necessary.

Equipment (subject to change):

Serbia: Djokovic / Lajovic
Spain: Nadal / Bautista
Austria: Thiem / Novak
Russia: Medvedev / Rublev
Switzerland: Federer / Wawrinka
Greece: Tsitsipas / Perolarakis
