Roger Federer Honored at Wimbledon: Tennis Legend Ends Career

Tennis star Roger Federer, 41, ended his career after the Laver Cup last September.

During Tuesday, the former world number one was celebrated in front of packed Wimbledon stands. Among others, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, was present to pay tribute to the tennis legend.

Federer has won Wimbledon eight times – the most of any men’s player – and has a total of 20 grand slam victories, which is the third most on the men’s side. The 41-year-old has also won an Olympic gold and an Olympic silver during his career.

Federer was also honored a few weeks ago on the ATP tour in Halle, Germany.
