After over a year out, Roger Federer is set to return to competitive action at the ATP Qatar Open in Doha.
The Swiss had said on December 28 that he was withdrawing from the Australian Open to finish his recovery process, though it was later speculated that he had taken the decision as he would have been unable to travel with his family.
The Qatar Open takes place from March 8 to March 13, having been moved because of the pandemic.
Federer won in Doha in 2005, 2006, and in 2011.
