Roger Federer Celebrates South African Victory with Springboks in Locker Room

Roger Federer shared the South African victory celebrations in the Springboks locker room. The world champions took the opportunity to take a few photos with one of the greatest tennis legends.

A champion meets champions. Following South Africa’s victory in the World Cup final, against New Zealand, Roger Federer entered the Springboks locker room to share the party with the evening warriors. With a mother of South African origin, the former tennis player posed for a long time with certain players, green and yellow jersey on his shoulders. Like children meeting their idols, the South African world champions rushed to one of the greatest tennis legends to have their souvenir photo with the Swiss.

We also see Jesse Kriel with his eyes in ecstasy in front of the man with 20 Grand Slam titles, or Kwagga Smith waiting for his turn with his phone in hand. Faf de Klerk even welcomed Federer in his simplest regalia: in underwear in the colors of the South African flag. “Congratulations! Congratulations to you” smiles Roger Federer in front of the two-time world champions Golgoths. Memories that should stay with the twenty-three heroes for the rest of their lives.

Note that Novak Djokovic, current world number 1, was also present in the stands of the Stade de France.
