Swiss star Roger Federer has announced his retirement from tennis after a career full of titles and achievements, most notably twenty Grand Slam tournament titles.
This claim came after the 41-year-old Swiss underwent a series of knee surgeries.
Federer has published the news via his Twitter account, noting that the Laver Cup, scheduled in London next week, will be the last tournament he will participate in and will be his farewell party after around 1,500 games played in 24. years.
