Since Monday April 12, visits to people hospitalized in the Jacques-Puel center have been suspended. A measure that had already been taken by the health establishment during the first two confinements.
The hospital closed its doors to visitors. Since the start of the week, only people authorized by an exemption have been able to access the corridors of the Jacques-Puel hospital center. “We had set up the same organization during the other two confinements. The suspension of visits makes it possible to limit contact with hospitalized people”, details the management of the health establishment.
Patients were then notified of the hospital’s closure to the public at the end of last week and they were able to receive their last visitors over the weekend. “We obviously take into account individual situations, explains the management. Several units such as palliative care or resuscitation can issue medical authorizations for visits. Likewise at the maternity ward so that the second parent comes to see the mother.”
Only people coming for a consultation or hospitalization can access the services. Everyone else is going to have to be patient.
