After several weeks of work to bring the room that will house the device up to standard, the second latest generation hybrid gamma camera for the nuclear medicine department was delivered and is being installed and configured.
In particular, this new acquisition will make it possible to treat more patients and therefore reduce appointment times for conventional scintigraphy, to respond to urgent visits within the day, to carry out faster and more comfortable examinations for the patient.
This new equipment will also guarantee the carrying out of urgent examinations even in the event of unavailability of one of the two machines.
“The offer of assistance can thus be expanded and improved”, welcomed the management of the hospital center. Commissioning is scheduled for early January.
