rodeos, giant football game and fireworks despite the confinement

Bron this Saturday afternoon – DR

This Saturday, the Léo Lagrange stadium in Bron was taken over by many individuals.

Between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., a hundred people gathered for a not so improvised game of football. On a video published by a local resident, we therefore see dozens of people assembled without worrying about barrier gestures. Players, substitutes, and even the public were present for a real match. The kids didn’t just hit the ball, as a rodeo was also reported in the area. On the images published on social networks, we can see several motocross, without plates, driven by people without helmets. To top it off, fireworks were also reported. It is not known whether the police intervened to dislodge the individuals.

Despite the confinement still in force, these illegal gatherings and rodeos were regularly observed in the commune of the Lyon suburbs. According to Jérémie Bréaud, LR candidate in the last municipal elections, “the will of the mayor to accept everything, so as not to make waves, is just intolerable. With 11 municipal police officers, against 14 in 2014, protecting the Brondillants is clearly not his priority “.
