The cast is completed with three other shorts from Jaén, Cigarettesby Rosario Pardo; I will remember you when I see vultures flyby David Heredia and Mom, scored by Carlos Aceituno.

The deputy for Culture and Sports, Ángel Vera, explained that the contest has been affected by the pandemic, which has forced them to change the date. In addition, Vera has advanced that the filming will take place in “Carboneros, El Centenillo, Hinojares, Jaén, Navas de Tolosa, Santiago-Pontones, Segura de la Sierra, Torredelcampo, Torredonjimeno, Valdepeñas de Jaén and Villardompardo, thus showing the province of Jaén as a great film set “.

The eight productions have been selected from a total of 25 that were presented. The contest has a first prize of 2,500 euros and a second endowed with 1,000. The range of recognitions is completed with others that RTVA delivers, the Best Provincial Short and those for the best director, actor, actress, photography, script, soundtrack, production, sound and editing. In addition, Vera has advanced that “this year the contest has important news, such as the recording of a DCP copy of the winning short film by the Aracne company; the screening in community cinemas by the Andalusian film industry employers (Aedava) of the winning short; and the incorporation in the list of winners of an award for the best montage “.
