Nusantara Advocate Movement Coordinator Petrus Salestinus reports video content on his YouTube account Rocky Gerung. Petrus Selestinus reported allegations of hate speech related to content YouTube Rocky Gerung and Hersubeno Arief.
The YouTube content in question is contained in the Rocky Gerung Official account with the title ‘MIVING MUI AFFAIRS, FROM BENNY MUST RETURN OR FROM BPIP’. The content contains Rocky Gerung’s conversation with Hersubeno Arief.
“So earlier we reported to the SPKT Polda Metro Jaya about allegations that a criminal act had occurred because of hate speech and false news that caused a commotion in the community. The incident began with an interview on the Rocky Gerung Official YouTube channel that was carried out Hersubeno Arief with Rocky Gerung,” said Petrus when contacted on Wednesday (1/12/2021).
According to Petrus, the content in the video contains provocative statements. He accused the content of spreading fake news.
“As a result of the title being provocative and not containing the truth, there was a negative response to Father Benny, BPIP, the Catholic church, towards KWI, even entering into SARA nuances,” said Petrus.
Petrus added that currently those reported in his report are still under investigation. However, he urged a number of parties related to the video content to be questioned.
“We have shown the evidence earlier, so we mentioned that a number of people must be heard from the YouTube content, namely hate speech and spreading false news,” explained Petrus.
“A number of people we asked to be heard were the first Hersubeno Arief, Rocky Gerung, Refly Harun, Adi Masardi, and Natalius Pigai. They need to be heard,” he added.
This report from Petrus has been registered with the Polda Metro Jaya. The report is registered with the number LP/B/6013/XII/2021/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA on December 1, 2021.
In his report, Peter reports YouTube content on alleged criminal acts of hate speech and false news as per Article 28 paragraph 2 juncto Article 45 paragraph 2 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning ITE and/or Article 14 of Law Number 1 of 1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulations.

However, Rocky Gerung was reluctant to comment further on the report.
