The company hinted that it will not launch GTA 6 on services like PS Plus or Game Pass on day one. In response to an investor who questioned Strauss about the impact of services like Game Pass, he downplayed it and said that even with 25 million subscribers, Game Pass is too small a business for Take-Two to release games. However, the company has no problem supporting the service by offering other titles in the catalog: “We don’t make our main titles available on a day-to-day basis,” he explained.
“We are excited to be in the market with subscription services for our catalog titles at an appropriate time. We think this is the right way to support Subscription, which is still a relatively small business,” he added. Strauss Zelnick.
