Last week we announced that Rockstar Games had allegedly scrapped renovation plans for Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV. According to rumors, an increased investment in Grand Theft Auto 6 has been one of the reasons.
The developer has not yet commented on the renovation rumors, but now confirms that there are all cloths for the next game in the Grand Theft Auto series.
– Must exceed expectations
I et posts on their websites Rockstar writes that more and more resources are being transferred to GTA6. The developer knows what expectations are associated with the game, and the goal is to reach even higher.
– In recent years, we have gradually moved more development resources to the next feature in the Grand Theft Auto series. We understand that it is more important now than ever to exceed the players’ expectations, and to make this next game as good as possible, the team explains.
As a result, Rockstar announced a cut in further support for Red Dead Online. The multiplayer variant of the western game will no longer receive any major updates. Instead, the developer plans to build on existing modes, as well as come up with updates that will improve the experience.
Grand Theft Auto 6 was officially confirmed earlier this year, after a long period of rumors. However, the details of the game are still kept secret, and when it will actually be launched is uncertain.
