Even so, the release did not meet the expectations of fans so that it was a harvest of blasphemy. Quoted from Polygon, Rockstar apologized a few days after the game’s launch, saying “the latest game version is not released in a state that meets quality standards“.
Through an official statement, the developer also promised that they would present an update to fix some problems. They kept their promise by rolling out an update in late November.
Details of bugs and glitches fixed by Rockstar can be seen on the game’s official blog at this link. GTA The Trilogy Remaster includes a series of games that have a huge fan pool, namely Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas.
The “high-definition” remasters of three of Rockstar’s classic games should have made for much better visuals. But fans actually found strange things when playing GTA The Trilogy Remaster.
Fans have previously seen footage of dazzling rain effects, invisible bridges, pools of blood, ridiculous camera angles, and dubious changes to the original game version. Upon release, the combined score on Metacritic for the PC version of GTA The Trilogy Remaster was “0.5”.
