Rockstar Games Source Code Leak: GTA 5, Bully 2, and GTA 6 Details Revealed

Following the Insomniac hacking incident, it looks like Rockstar Games has become the next victim of an information leak. According to a post by popular YouTuber SKizzle on X, the full source code for Grand Theft Auto 5 has become public. The leak also revealed data related to Bully 2 and the next Grand Theft Auto game, codenamed Project Americas – GTA 6.

@SKizzleAXE even shared a screenshot of the leaked GTA 5 source code, confirming the veracity of the message. According to the details, Rockstar was also working on a proposed sequel to Bully.

Another report claims that the source code was leaked online on a Discord server whose name has not been disclosed to prevent data from being shared. A user under the nickname Agent also shared some of the leaked GTA 5 source code and some images of Rockstar Games’ RAGE engine on X. However, their post has now been deleted.

GTA 5 source code was allegedly released last year along with leaked footage. However, this has not been made public until now. This is a huge loss of data for the developer and could have consequences for both current and future players of the series.

Popular online reporter Gaming Detective (@that1detectiv3) also highlighted the potential impact of the source code leak, which could even delay the release of Rockstar Games’ upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 game.
