Sony published on its website, data on the most downloaded games of July 2023 on PlayStation consoles. On PS5, Grand Theft Auto V dominated both North America and Europe. The second place in both regions was taken by the “soullike” shooter Remnant II, which was released on July 25. In third place in the US and Canada is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, and in Europe – FIFA 23.
Diablo IV, which topped PS5 downloads in June, dropped to number six in both regions. Final Fantasy XVI, which had been at number two a month earlier, peaked at number four in North America and number seven in Europe in July.
Red Dead Redemption 2 became the most downloaded game on PS4 in the US and Canada, and in Europe it took second place. Grand Theft Auto V topped the European charts and peaked at number three in North America.
