Rockstar Games has confirmed disappointing news about Red Dead Redemption 2. For a long time, it was speculated that the title could have DLC for the story, as various clues and “leaks” suggested so. However, the company has finally decided to confirm what many of us did not want to hear: for now they are only focused on creating content for the online mode.
During a recent interview with Games Radar, Tarek Hamad, developer at Rockstar North, confirmed that the future of Red Dead It was oriented towards the online, completely ruling out any possibility of knowing more about its history with any expansion or DLC:
“For now the team is focused on further developing the world of Red Dead Online. This world, this time, provides us with a lot of space to tell stories and introduce a wide cast of characters, all of them can be enjoyed alone or with your own gang. It is very important to us to make sure that each type of player can experience the stories we have to tell, and that they can control this experience in Red Dead Online. ”
