NEW YORK (AP) — Jake Cave had four hits, drove in three runs and came within a triple of hitting for the cycle, and the Colorado Rockies routed the New York Yankees 9-2 on Saturday.

Aaron Judge, who leads the majors with 49 homers, went 0 for 2 with a walk, his consecutive home run streak halted at four.

Cave hit a double in the second inning and an RBI single in the third inning. After hitting a single in the fifth, Cave homered in the seventh for the 9-2 final. It was Cave’s first career four-hit game.

Nolan Jones also drove in three runs as the Rockies snapped a six-game road losing streak and avoided their 50th road loss.

Rookie starter Bradley Blalock (1-0) retired Judge twice and allowed two runs and five hits in 5 1/3 innings for his first career win.

Will Warren (0-2) took the loss after allowing six runs, five earned, and seven hits in three innings.

For the Rockies, Venezuelan Ezequiel Tovar was 2-for-5 with two runs scored.

For the Yankees, Venezuelan Gleyber Torres was 1-for-3 with one run scored. Dominican Juan Soto was 1-for-4. Mexican-American Alex Verdugo was 1-for-3 with one run scored and one RBI.
