There has been a rockfall in Nevelsfjorden on Kjerringøy during Tuesday.
Operations manager Mads Bernhoft confirms to Avisa Nordland that they have received tips about a landslide.
– We have received information that there has been a landslide, and we have received a video of it. And then we have had the help of Sar Queen to look in the area.
Bernhoft says that the landslide should have happened on Tuesday afternoon.
– We are working to get information about the size of the landslide, he says.
The landslide must have occurred near Trolltinden.
Witnesses at the scene tell AN that no houses or cabins will be taken by the landslide.
The central control center Northern Norway confirms to Avisa Nordland that they have a helicopter over the rockslide. The helicopter had been on another mission, and the emergency services used the opportunity to get the pilots to look at the slide from above, they say.
