Rocket Racing in Fortnite: Conquer Advanced Tracks and Unlock New Tire Smoke Slide Colors in Version 28.20

Get ready, get ready! Buckle up and take on two advanced tracks in the 28.20 edition of Rocket Racing in Fortnite. These tracks will have you sliding through twists and turns, and are perfect for showing off the new Tire Smoke Slide effect colors! Unlock these colors by proving yourself a professional racer in new missions.

Increase your speed on advanced tracks

Sit back in the driver’s seat—version 28.20 brings two advanced tracks that will test your rocket racing ability:

Celebration Falls 2

Are you a fan of Celebration Falls? Then let the celebrations begin! But don’t think that Celebration Falls 2 is going to be one long party — this sequel to Celebration Falls is full of dangers all the way to the finish line. Face its twists and turns in a ranked race once you reach Platinum I!

Day slip 2

The second trail, Day Slide 2, is not suitable for hiking on a day off. This sequel to the day slide features a rough and winding road that will have you learning to drive sideways. Don’t daydream while driving — Dayslide 2 will unlock once you reach Platinum I in a ranked race.

New missions and new slide smoke colors

Defeat your rivals in new paint colors! Seven Ranked Challenges have been added to the Season 0 Tuning Missions that task you with showing your elite rank. The goal of each challenge is to complete a certain number of races at a certain rating score. For example:

  • Complete 10 races at “Gold” tier or higher (unlocks orange slide smoke tire effect)

Each challenge gives a new color to the slide smoke tire effect after completing it. Take on challenges to add more colors to your collection! All Season 0 Tuning Missions — including Ranked Challenges — are available until March 26, 2024, 7 a.m. KSA time.

Core improvements and bug fixes

The developer has listened Fortnite To your comments about collisions (both player-to-player and environment collisions) throughout Season 0 and we agree with you, they are continuing to improve them and we have made collisions much less severe in v28.20.

  • Driving in a hazard no longer turns off the accelerator for the duration of the hazard effect. A higher speed penalty is now applied and lower acceleration is imposed so as not to interfere with skids.
  • We will monitor how this improvement impacts during Season Zero. Please provide us with your feedback on whether this modification improves the racing experience.
  • We’ve added a setting for custom nameplates for icons only.
  • Fixed an issue where spectators were sometimes disqualified for being idle during race endings.
  • Fixed an issue where using turbo after accelerating or drifting would result in you not achieving the desired speed.
  • Image quality has been improved in the post-race screen.
