Rocket League will go free to play by the end of the summer – News

Once the title is available for free-to-play, players will be able to keep their progress, regardless of the platform on which he is playing. Be careful, however, because the Steam version will no longer be available for download, but will remain playable for those who have the title. In addition, Psyonix specifies that all players who have launched the game at least once online before the switchover will receive the Legacy pack, which will include:

  • All Rocket League DLC released before it was free
  • The Title “Est. 20XX” which displays the first year you have played Rocket League
  • Over 200 common items improved in “Legacy” quality
  • Golden Cosmos Boost
  • Dieci-Oro wheels
  • A player banner

Finally, all players who played Rocket League before this announcement will receive the Faded Cosmos boost for free.
