At least six people, including a child, were injured after a rocket destroyed the Kharkiv district administration building, CNN reported. The ensuing powerful explosion was seen in a video shared by Economist correspondent Oliver Carroll on social media.

According to the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN, the higher floors of two residential buildings were also destroyed.
The mayor of the city Igor Terekhov said that the Russian army blew up electrical substations, which led to interruptions in electricity and water supply, BGNES reported.
