Five people were killed in a new Russian missile attack on Kherson on Saturday, according to Ukraine. At least 20 injured are also reported. Meanwhile, according to the British Ministry of Defence, the Russians are almost out of missiles and ammunition.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted briefly to the attack on the southern city of Kherson. He spoke of “another act of terror” by the Russians. “These are not military targets. The Russians kill for intimidation and for fun.”
Zelensky calls on Ukrainians to pay more attention to the air raid siren during the holidays and help each other. “Always take care of each other.”
Russia has been using large-scale rocket attacks against Ukrainian cities for months. As a result, according to the British Ministry of Defense, they will run out of missiles and ammunition.
The Kremlin has limited the number of long-range missile strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure “probably to around one per week due to the limited availability of cruise missiles,” the British say.
The Russian Armed Forces supply of artillery ammunition may not be large enough “to enable large-scale offensive operations”.
