Local Israeli news agencies report that a 70-year-old woman was seriously injured by gunfire. One of the missiles hit a building in the south of the country. And in another place, a 20-year-old guy received shrapnel wounds.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said it would meet with top security officials in the coming hours.
“The Israeli military has not yet commented on the situation, but its forces routinely carry out airstrikes in response to rocket fire, raising the possibility of larger hostilities,” the newspaper writes.
