Rocker band “Foreigner” will perform at “Arena Riga”
Riga, Dec. 3, LETA. One of the brightest rock bands “Foreigner” will perform at “Arena Riga”, the organizers of the “Positivus” festival informed LETA.
Foreigner is a British-American rock band founded in 1976 in New York.
The organizers of the concert emphasize that “Foreigner” is considered to be one of the most popular rock music groups in the world with an impressive musical creation that has been conquering the music charts for more than 40 years. The group is ranked among the best and most commercially successful groups in the world.
“Foreigner” is one of the most played groups of classic rock artists on the YouTube platform, with a weekly view of one million and a total of 500 million video views.
In recent years, the band’s music has grown in popularity due to the use of songs in television, movies, video games and promotional materials.
In 2017, “Foreigner” celebrated its 40th anniversary and released a double album called “40” with The Warner Music Group. It includes 40 songs recorded between 1977 and 2017.
The album spent nine weeks at the top of the “Billboard Top 200” chart and features two tracks specifically for this edition – “Give My Life For Love” and a new version of “I Don’t Want To Live Without You.”
