The retirement of the scenarios, closer and closer
The last concerts of Kiss already have a date.
After touring various parts of the world, “The End of the Road” will have its last performances in December of this year. The band, led by the historic Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, scheduled concerts at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York, on December 1 and 2.
“Kiss was born in New York City. On 23rd Street, half a century ago. It will be a privilege and an honor to end the tour at Madison Square Garden, 10 blocks and 50 years from where we started,” the group said in a statement, per what the performances will be a symbolism for musicians and fans. “Walking around the stage with dragon boots and all that, with more than 75 years? I can’t imagine. The physical wear, your heart will not be able to bear it,” Gene Simmons said some time ago about the reasons for this tour parting.
Before saying goodbye in December, Kiss has several commitments, including a visit to South America, with confirmed shows in Brazil, Chile (Masters of Rock, April 30, with Scorpions, Deep Purple, Skid Row, Helloween) and Argentina.
