A one-time bistro, as announced by the Rock Werchter organization ‘Encore’. That day festival will take place on Sunday 26 June. The first headliner is also immediately known.

Werchter had previously indicated that he was aiming for an extra festival day this year, but further information was lacking. Until now. On Sunday 26 June Rock Werchter Encore will take place in the Festival Park of Werchter. The first name is already known: Florence + The Machine is the headliner. The full line-up will be announced later. There will also be two stages: the Main Stage and The Barn. The first performance starts at 4 p.m., the grounds open half an hour earlier.
‘It has been rather quiet in the Festival Park over the past two summers,’ organizer Herman Schueremans said. ‘The hunger to experience festivals again is great. For example, both Rock Werchter and Werchter Boutique are sold out, earlier than ever. The urge to bang is real. That is why we are presenting this one-off extra day festival to celebrate the return of the festivals.’

Tickets for the day festival are on sale from Thursday 14 April at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.be. They cost 94 euros (including service costs and mobility contribution). Those who already had a ticket for Rock Werchter will receive a discount of 10 euros for Encore. They will receive an email shortly with more information.
It promises to be a busy summer. On Sunday 19 June there will be Werchter Boutique with Stromae and Gorillaz. On Saturday 25 June there will be TW Classic with, among others, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. On Sunday 26 June there will be Rock Werchter Encore. And from June 30 to July 3 there is Rock Werchter itself. Tickets are still available for TW Classic.
