Firmino, 32, spent eight years with English Premier League side Liverpool before moving from Europe to Saudi Arabia.
Together with his family, he went on vacation to Dubai during the national team break, where the footballer was scheduled to relax. Unfortunately, a few days after arriving in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Firmino’s father, José Roberto Cordeiro de Oliveira, lost his life.
His life ended at the age of 62.

Two days before the start of the journey, Firmino’s father complained of fatigue and also had a strong cough, but no one expected that the situation would be so serious. On the third morning of the holiday, the man did not wake up. He died of a heart attack in his sleep.
After his father’s death, Firmino contacted the Brazilian embassy in the UAE to have his father taken to Masejo in Brazil.
Firmino called his father a hero in his autobiography and they had a very close relationship.
