Roberto Firmino’s statements about the “disagreement” of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane
Brazilian Roberto Firmino, the striker of the first team of the Saudi Al-Ahly club, revealed a huge surprise about the relationship between his former teammates in the English giant Liverpool, “the Egyptian Mohamed Salah and the Senegalese Sadio Mane.”
Firmino, along with Salah and Mane, formed a terrible attacking trio at Liverpool. They led the first football team to win the English Premier League title, after an absence of nearly 30 years, in addition to ascending to the throne of European champions.
In this context, Firmino revealed in statements to The Guardian newspaper that the relationship between the Egyptian and Senegalese duo was very tense, especially in the recent period, before Mane left for Bayern Munich, then the Saudi club Al-Nassr.

The Brazilian striker added in his statements: “I have personally seen the looks, frowns, body language and dissatisfaction when one of them is angry with the other.”
The current Al-Ahly player admitted that the differences between Salah and Mane began since the 2018-2019 season, but they were only in the dressing room, before they appeared in front of the world, during the incident of the Liverpool and Burnley match.
Roberto Firmino emphasized that he tried to be the link between Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in Liverpool’s attack line, and he also played a major role in calming the atmosphere between them, before the explosion completely.
It is worth noting that Firmino joined Al-Ahly club in the summer of this year, coming from Liverpool, in a free transfer deal, after the official end of his contract.
