The carabinieri of Caccamo have seized a part of the abandoned gymnasium located near the sports field of the town subject of the inspection arranged as part of the investigation into the death of 17-year-old Roberta Siragusa. The girl was murdered on Saturday night.
Investigators suspect that the victim’s body, before being left at the bottom of the cliff where it was found, was taken to the building that is being renovated. Maybe right there the killer, alone or with the help of accomplices, as investigators suspect, he would set fire to the corpse before moving it.
The military, who stopped Roberta’s boyfriend, Pietro Morreale, for the crime and the concealment of the body, also took soil samples to analyze them.
