Yesterday it became clear that the recordings for The Batman were discontinued because a cast member was allegedly infected with corona. Now it is clear that Robert pattinson is, the actor who fulfills the title role.
According to Variety, Warner Bros. decided to shut down the entire production for the time being, despite there being reports that work would continue on the scenes without the actor from films like Tenet in Twilight.
Recordings The Batman just started again
The filming for the great DC movie had only just started after it had to be stopped due to the corona outbreak. Pattinson was reportedly in quarantine for a fortnight.
Incidentally, work would continue on the set construction and location design at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, UK. The coming weeks there will be “probably” no new recordings made. The makers still have some time, since Matt Reeves‘ The Batman is scheduled for October 2021.
