Towards the end of last week, he got a surprise he has rarely experienced before. The whole family was sitting together in the living room when Robert’s youngest daughter Julia (21) revealed that the father was already getting the first Christmas present of the year. Before he knew it, his mother Sissy (78) was in the living room.

– Completely epic
In secret, Sissy had traveled from Boston in the USA to Bergen – well helped by Julia. Thus, he was again given not just one, but countless hugs, to his beloved mother – which he last saw just over five years ago.
– It was completely epic. A wonderful feeling and I knew nothing about it! I have tried to persuade her to come several times in recent years, but it has not been possible. She is afraid of traveling too far due to a slightly poor health, Robert Michael Scott tells Dagbladet, before he continues:

– When she stepped in that door … For me, this was bigger than if it had been Justin Bieber. The only stupid thing about it is that I will never get such a nice Christmas present again.

– I love him
According to the 54-year-old, the mother will stay until well over Christmas. She will not return to Boston until January 6 or 7.
Sissy herself does not hide from Dagbladet that she also thought it was great to see her son and his whole family again.
– I’m having a great time here in Bergen, and I’m so happy to see them all again. And he was so surprised, because he did not know that I was coming, she says, before the “Farm” profile humorously adds:
– Now we just enjoy ourselves. And the conversation goes in one, for believe it or not: Mom actually talks more than me.

Mamma Sissy has also managed to catch some of what her son has delivered on TV in “Farmen” this autumn.
– Yes, I’ve seen a little. I’m the one who created this “monster”. But he is mitt little “monster” and I love him, she says and laughs.

Thought he was dreaming
According to the Norwegian-American bus driver, the visit has been planned “behind his back” for three or four months. And when Julia asked the family to gather in the living room, dad Rob was absolutely sure that the daughter had edited together a video of highlights from 2021 – and that it was the one they were going to see together.
– Would have been dead without his wife
But he was completely wrong.
– I would probably start crying about it too, but when my mother came in I was simply shocked. For the first four or five seconds, I felt like I was dreaming, he says.

Robert Michael Scott is married his wife Beate, and have in addition to Julia’s children Christopher and Michelle.
This is far from the first time Sissy has visited Bergen, as she has been present at all three children’s confirmations – most recently when Julia joined the ranks of the adults just over five years ago.
