Robert Lewandowski and Cezary Kucharski – new recording

The German daily published a recording of Lewandowski’s conversation with Kucharski, which confirms that their conflict began in 2018. We present the full transcript of the conversation:

Cook’s: Robert, only if you don’t blame me that I will only think about myself now. If you tell me something like that, you are communicating … You told me a year ago in the “case” of the contract extension.

Lewandowski: Well, from that moment on, it was in such a state of limitation.

Cook’s: We don’t have a deal. But just to be clear. I am not going to make any move now that will work against me. So don’t blame what will happen.

Lewandowski: But what do you mean?

Cook’s: For example, a solution … Leaving your company.

Lewandowski: You wanted to get out of this company yourself. You proposed it yourself.

Cook’s: No no. Robert, but I still want it, right? However, it will not be painless, as you or Kamil imagine. So that you never have to blame me for looking after my business. After what you told me, I won’t have any sentiments about what I’m going to do. And you know what you are not assuming in your life. That at some point you can stumble and get out of it mega big problems. Because you completely don’t realize. Because you, let me tell you, have weak people. In a moment I am going to show you what the consequences are from the actions of your people. But I’m just asking you not to blame me for doing it without any scruples.

Lewandowski: So what, are you threatening me now?

Cook’s: No no no. I’m not threatening you. No. Robert, don’t get me wrong. I’m just going to fight for my business now.

Lewandowski: What is your interest in the company or anything else?

Cook’s: Before, I represented you at the expense of my own interests and my family. But now, even more so after what you said, I won’t have any … And see, I don’t want to hurt you, even though what you say and the way you say is very painful for me.

Lewandowski: And what consequences are you talking about?

Cook’s: Robert, if I didn’t want to tell you on the phone. I wanted to prepare and I will prepare myself. Or I will enforce my rights.

Lewandowski: For what?

Cook’s: Robert, I won’t tell you now. I’m just telling you, I’m not doing you anything wrong. But if you are in trouble in the future, don’t expect me to help you. Well, because it seems to me that at this point, after what you say, I’m not obliged to fix some things for you in the future.

Robert Lewandowski and Cezary Kucharski – the history of the conflict

The whole scandal was therefore to begin in 2018, when the cooperation of both parties was ending. Lewandowski has informed his longtime agent that his time at RL Management is almost over. Lewandowski’s former agent was to threaten the player in return that he would reveal all his tax machinations. In return for the silence, Kucharski demanded EUR 20 million. He allegedly consulted this amount with Rafael Buschmann – a journalist from the German magazine “Der Spiegel”, to which the captain of the Polish national team replied that his former colleague talked to a man who did not know the business and laughed some of Kucharski’s threats.

In the published on October 29 this year. by “Business Insider” in the recording presented below, Kucharski was to present his offer to the footballer. – What are we emotionally talking about? “Lewy” asked. – This is 20 million euros – replies the former manager and makes sure: “This is kind of worth your peace of mind, right?” Lewandowski reacts decisively: “Zero euro, zero zlotys”. When asked what he actually wants the money for, Kucharski claims that “for the rest of his life he will hide that the footballer and his wife are tax frauds”.

Lewandowski reported the case to the prosecutor’s office, and a Kucharski was detained and interrogated, and then charged. Preventive measures were adopted in the form of a property bail in the amount of PLN 4.6 million, a ban on approaching the victim and his wife, as well as contacting them, a ban on leaving the country combined with keeping a passport, and police supervision.

According to “Bild”, the Warsaw prosecutor’s office also intends to interrogate Buschmann, although the official letter in this case has not yet been received. The data contained in the laptop confiscated during the detention of the former Lewandowski agent at the end of October are analyzed in terms of potential cooperation between Kucharski and “Der Spiegel”. The Bayern Munich player’s lawyers even presented a confidential letter from Kucharski to the editorial office of “Der Spiegel”, which is to be additional evidence in the case.
