Recent reports reveal that Robert Kurvits is suing ZA / UM to claim intellectual property Disc Elisio.

Robert Kurvitz sues ZA / UM over IP Disco Elysium
TechNewsSpace reports that it has found a court in Estonia which reveals that a lawsuit was filed against ZA / UM by Telomer, a company involving Robert Kurzitz, the author of the novel. Disc Elisio and game designer, as a board member.
Kotaku Australia later confirmed and reported that Kurvitz had been involved with Telomer since the company was founded in January 2020.
TechNewsSpace added that Telomer asked to “obtain information and review documents”. The court set the date for their first hearing, which was November 28, 2022.

This lawsuit follows the information that the ZA / UM Cultural Association has been dissolved and that principal member of ZA / UM fired from his studio, including Kurvitz, Helen Hindpere and Aleksander Rostov.
According to Martin Luiga, co-founder of the ZA / UM Cultural Association and editor of the novel Disc Elisiothe trio had not worked in the studio “since the end of last year” and their departure was “unintentional”.
