There is still one reason behind the change in Downey Jr.’s appearance, namely his role in the HBO series ‘The Sympathizer’.
In a video shared on photo-sharing service Instagram, the celebrated actor posted a short clip of him asking children to get their hair cut before filming for the HBO series.
In the video, Downey can clearly be heard telling children Exton (10) and Avri (8):
– I don’t want to wear a bald cap. Can you shave me?
The youngsters were then given a pair of nail clippers to shave the locks of their father in the video, which read:
“Everything we do is for our work… and for our children.”
