Robert De Niro celebrated his 80th birthday on Thursday evening with his famous friends in the big New York apple.
The actor of Goodfellas celebrated the event at the Italian restaurant Locanda Verde, located at the Greenwich hotel, which he owns.
Paparazzi photos showed the director of the Godfather Francis Ford Coppola, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, Uma Thurman, filmmaker George Lucas, Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell, and former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo entering or leaving the room.
According to “People” magazine, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, with whom De Niro has worked frequently, were also present at the celebration, as were Christopher Walken, Bette Midler, Jane Krakowski and illusionist David Blaine.

De Niro’s wife, Tiffany Chen, was also at the party with their baby girl Gia, the couple’s first child – the actor’s seventh – who was born last April.

His 51-year-old daughter, Drena De Niro, marked the comedian’s birthday Thursday on her social networks, sharing a black and white portrait on Instagram while writing: “happy 80th you know who”, followed by emoticons of the heart and the crown.
The latest collaboration from De Niro, DiCaprio and Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moonslated for release in October.
