Hasselt –
The merry-go-round of Spirou has been at Hasselt Fair for fifty years today. Robert Vanlingen is 74 and will pass on his mill – which is unique in the whole of Limburg – to his grandson. The Vanlingen and Meirisonne family are the mainstays of the fair in Hasselt. Robert is not retiring. He was born at the fair and he says he will die there too. Even though he will wave the floss many more times by the time it comes.
