British pop star Robbie Williams offered his services for paid participation in the protests in Switzerland, where he currently resides, as he posted on social media a picture showing his protest against a local traffic roundabout.
The former member of the band Take That posted, on his Instagram account, a picture of himself standing next to a small street, wearing shorts and holding a sign that read: “No to traffic circles.”
Swiss media indicated that the roundabout that appeared behind him in the photo, which is planted with flowers and grass, is located in the town of Gstaad, known for its luxurious mountain resorts in the Alps.
In a video clip he also posted on Instagram, Williams appears carrying the same sign and standing in the middle of the roundabout, shouting: “Enough roundabouts,” as a number of cars pass in front of him. Williams, who is said to have recently moved to Gstaad after putting a luxury property on the outskirts of Geneva up for sale, wrote: “I am offering my services as a celebrity who is willing to participate paidly in the protests.”
He continued: “I will protest against anything,” promising “competitive prices, cheaper than those charged by Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars, and much cheaper than (Justin) Bieber.”
