Robbie Fowler, the English legend of Liverpool, believes that the numbers achieved by the star Mohamed Salah place him as an absolute legend in the history of the ancient club, noting that Al-Masry makes everyone look bad every week because of the records that he continues to break.
On Saturday, Liverpool beat Brentford with a free goal through Salah, who became the eighth player to score 100 goals for Liverpool at Anfield, and also became the first player in the club’s history to score in nine consecutive matches in all tournaments on the same stadium.
This goal was also Salah’s 186th with Liverpool, making him the club’s fifth all-time leading scorer, jointly with Stephen Gerrard.
Cal Fowler praised the Egyptian international in an interview published on the official website of the English Premier League, and said: His record is exceptional, I think that by every week he makes everyone look bad.
He added: He came to the club and I don’t think anyone would have imagined that he would achieve these numbers.
And he continued: Salah is an absolute phenomenon for Liverpool, when you look at what he achieved and what he did, he must be the absolute legend of Liverpool.
