Robbers in Bekasi Rape a Girl Playing Tiktok, Threaten to Kill if she Shouts

BEKASI, KOMPAS.com – A 15-year-old girl with the initials AS was raped by a thief who sneaked into her house in Bintara, Bekasi City, Saturday (15/5/2021). The victim who was playing TikTok was said to have been threatened with death by the perpetrator.

“From his confession, this victim was threatened, the perpetrator wanted to kill him if he shouted for help,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Heri Purnomo, reported by the Jakarta Tribune, Sunday (16/5/2021).

“The victim is still a minor, from his confession he was threatened and then raped,” he said.

This made the victim helpless against the perpetrator or asking for help, even though at that time there was a mother and younger sibling at home.

“The victim was playing Tiktok alone in the living room, the incident was around 5:00 am,” said Heri.

The perpetrator came and immediately smothered the victim from behind and threatened her.

It is estimated that the perpetrator entered the house through the hole exhaust fan.

“The victim entered through the vent (hexos), went out through the back door, he (the perpetrator) also took a number of belongings of the victim,” he explained.

“From the scene of the incident we secured the victim’s sheets and clothes that had blood stains to be checked further on the physical condition of the victim. We are also still combining the data in the field and the real condition,” said Heri.

The West Bekasi police chief, Kompol Armayni, said the Women and Children Service Unit had handled victims who were still in an unstable condition.

“Currently the victim is still with us. Until now, it is not known who the perpetrator is, ”said Armayni.
