His working day was almost over on Monday when he quickly had to do a job on an electrical switch box in the chocolate factory in Veurne. It is not yet clear what exactly went wrong, but during that work the boy was electrocuted. His body was eventually discovered by two other factory workers.
A few hundred meters away, his mother Anja Traversier (45) was already waiting in the parking lot at that moment. Every night she picked up her son after his internship day. Like so many parents, Anja also thought: rather a detour of ten minutes than that our Robbe has to cycle on a dangerous road in the evening. Robbe was always ready at the gate when Anja arrived. Now nobody was there.
